New Dual Picture-in-Picture DVI Scaler from TV One

The TV One-Task range expands with the introduction of the 1T-C2-750
Erlanger, KY, January 9, 2009 – TV One introduces the new 1T-C2-750 Dual Picture-in-Picture DVI-I Scaler. Based on TV One’s exclusive CORIO®2 Technology, this clever new unit includes two high-quality graphic scalers capable of working at full DVI video rates. The two scaling engines housed within the 1T-C2-750 can convert between digital DVI-D and analog DVI-A signals including RGBHV, RGBS, RGsB and YPbPr formats, using the two DVI-I inputs available. DVI-D resolutions up to 1920x1200/60Hz are supported with analog DVI-A resolutions up to 2048x2048 at virtually any refresh rate and HDTV resolutions up to 1080p/60Hz. HDMI signals are also accommodated using HDMI to DVI adaptors and the unit is fully HDCP compliant.
The remarkable CORIO®2 technology provides dual picture-in-picture capability with the usual flexibility of sizing and positioning found in TV One products. The variable zoom to 1000% permits the user to enlarge any part of the graphic image to fill the entire screen and the variable shrink to as little as 10% enables the fitting of multiple images on one screen with full positional control. The unit’s Still Image Store feature allow a maximum of ten user loadable images, such as custom logos and graphics, any of which can be used in place of either or both DVI inputs if desired.
The 1T-C2-750 can also be used as a Seamless Switcher device, enabling the user to toggle between the two DVI inputs with instantaneous cuts. When operating the scaler in this manner it is possible to also add a custom logo or image from the two integral Still Image Stores within the unit, each capable of holding ten graphic files. In addition to the single Picture-in-Picture, the Dual PIP capability allows two images to be placed side-by-side. The Genlock, Chromakey, Lumakey and Mixing features allow graphic inputs to be keyed over each other and faded in and out. Several 1T-C2-750 units can be cascaded resulting in additional picture-in-picture graphics, logos, test patterns and keyed images onto one screen. For example, three units can be cascaded to provide 4 images on the same screen for Multi-viewing applications.
The 1T-C2-750 Dual Picture-in-Picture DVI Scaler has a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of $995.  For more information contact Linda Douwsma at TV One.
