Laurel, NJ) – TelVue Corporation announced today it has launched PEG.TV™, an internet based Video-on-Demand (VoD) and Streaming Video service, developed specifically for PEG (public, education and government) television stations. The concept behind PEG.TV™ is to allow local stations to make video programming easily accessible to their respective communities, via the internet.

The PEG.TV™ technology supports unlimited & concurrent viewers, along with live streaming video up to 256 kb/second. Each municipality will be provided with a customized Video-on-Demand (VoD) Flash player, administered by TelVue and a unique URL– (“yourtown.PEG.TV”) Additionally, comprehensive setup and training will be provided by TelVue Technical Services, as part of the PEG.TV™ agreement.
