The RS-HM850 rain slicker is a custom-fit cover to protect JVC camera from rain and dust. The rain slicker exterior layer is made from nylon Taslan material and complemented by a soft tricot interior that won't scratch equipment. The Taslan material is both waterproof (1000MM waterproof rating) and breathable (1000G/M² breathability rating), which keeps the camera dry while also preventing the camera from overheating. A clear vinyl window provides an unobstructed view of the controls and a quick-change rear panel gives easy access to the battery compartment. The detachable front visor keeps rain off the lens. A triple-zippered bottom makes tripod mounting easy. JVC rain slickers can also be used for shoulder-mount or hand-held camera operation.
