Ikan Corp partners with two new distributors for more efficient delivery of Ikan products in Europe and Australia-New Zealand.

HOUSTON, Texas, (May 6, 2015) — Ikan International Corporation, designer, manufacturer and distributor of more than a thousand products used in film/video production, broadcast, and still photography, has significantly expanded its worldwide distribution network by entering into exclusive agreements with two distributors.

For all products sold by Ikan that are branded “Ikan” and “PD Movie,” Ikan has granted exclusive distribution rights in the Australia-New Zealand (ANZ) region to Sydney-based Adimex. For all products sold by Ikan that are branded “Ikan” and “PD Movie,” Ikan has granted exclusive distribution rights in Europe – including Turkey, Ireland and United Kingdom — to Germany-based AF Marcotec GmbH.

Ikan products have been available in both Europe and Australia through a number of local dealers, but Ikan CEO Kan Yeung emphasizes, “The change to single distributors who work directly with dealers in the region will create synergy on the supply and marketing side and greater efficiencies in product delivery.
