Cypress, CA, November 5, 2015 – FOR-A announces plans to exhibit at the upcoming
Content and Communications World
(CCW) Expo, taking place November 11-12 at the Javits Convention Center
in New York. The company spotlight at the event will be on its popular
video switchers and signal processors. As Fujitsu’s exclusive North
American distributor, FOR-A will also be showcasing Fujitsu encoding and
decoding technology at CCW within Booth #816.
"The CCW Expo is one of the biggest media technology events on the East
coast, drawing many high-level professionals in broadcast, media and
entertainment annually," said Jay Shinn, Vice President of FOR-A
America. "FOR-A always looks forward to showcasing its popular products
and getting to better connect with industry professionals at this
event."
One FOR-A booth highlight will be the HVS-2000
video switcher.
Ideal for a wide variety of video production users, the HVS-2000 was
recently made available with a 3M/E control panel. The cost-efficient
HVS-2000 features exclusive functions that set it apart from other
switchers in its class and give it the power and flexibility of a 6M/E
unit, including MELiteâ„¢, which allows a traditional AUX bus to transform
into a functional M/E with cut, mix, wipe and key control. Another
switcher feature is FLEXaKEYâ„¢ with preview, which allows operators to
tailor their production needs by adding and moving key and DVE layers to
traditional M/E resources or to MELite resources.
Another video switcher that FOR-A will showcase is the HVS-100 HD/SD
portable unit. Offering exceptional cost performance and diverse
features, the HVS-100 includes eight HD/SD SDI inputs, four HD/SD SDI
outputs and one HDMI output as standard functions, and offers frame
synchronization, re-sizing engines, 2.5D wipe effects, Chroma keyers,
DVEs and DSKs. The
portable video switcher
has a separated main unit and control panel, and was designed
specifically for experienced operators with dedicated bus buttons, AUX
buttons, a fader controller and direct user buttons for various
functions. The switcher offers a built-in Web browser for remote
control, as well as a clip memory feature in the still store to support
playback of video or animations.
FOR-A’s FA-505 multi-channel
signal processor
will also be on hand at the show. The five-input, five-output signal
processor features up/down/cross/aspect ratio conversion capability on
each input. The FA-505 is ideal for 4K applications and includes a
powerful synchronizer with frame/line/AVDL modes, video delay line of up
to eight frames, full RGB color correction, and 16 channels of embedded
audio per channel - with the ability to remap channels from any input
to any output.
At the CCW Expo, FOR-A will also showcase Fujitsu’s
video transmission technology.
Fujitsu’s real time networking gear uses the highly efficient H.264
video encoding technology to perform live transmission of high fidelity
HDTV at low bit-rates. Capable of operating at less than 99ms
back-to-back latency and featuring robust error correction, Fujitsu’s
encoder/decoder technology is widely used for HD/SD content delivery in
broadcast, enterprise and government applications.
