Ensemble Designs Announces BrightEye NXT Router Integration with NewTek TriCaster
September 3, 2013 Grass Valley, California – Ensemble Designs today announced its BrightEye NXT Router interface for the NewTek TriCaster 8000 multi-camera live production system.

TriCaster 8000 benefits from having more sources available on the inputs by using the BrightEye NXT router from Ensemble Designs. The BrightEye NXT’s BNCs can be configured as inputs or outputs, which lets the user to decide how many inputs and outputs the router has. If the production requires additional input, a BNC can be assigned as in input on the fly. BrightEye NXT’s built-in clean switches allow the use cameras and other sources that don’t have a reference.

“Our router has the perfect tie-in to TriCaster,” said Mondae Hott, Director of Sales for Ensemble Designs. “The tight interface between our router and TriCaster makes life really easy for operators who want to use a lot of sources in a show or event. It’s great working with NewTek and we’re excited to join the NewTek Developer Network.”

NewTek sales channels have complete access to BrightEye NXT Router series and will be integrating the Ensemble router with TriCaster 8000 systems upon any customer request.

“Development of the BrightEye NXT Routers was informed by customers asking for an elegant way to use HDMI and SDI signals together,” said David Wood, Chief Design Engineer and President at Ensemble Designs. “Integration with TriCaster is a natural progression for the BrightEye NXT series.”

We’re thrilled that Ensemble has joined the growing ecosystem of NewTek developers, and believe our customers will have a great workflow experience when using TriCaster 8000 and the BrightEye NXT router to produce large-scale live events.”

BrightEye NXT series routers have an interactive LCD display for control and viewing sources. The front panel LCD displays realtime full motion video of the router’s sources. Control and configuration of the router is accessed from the front panel, through and Ethernet port. The built-in web browser provides remotes control and very straight forward configuration.

“It’s so convenient to be able to see your HDMI and SDI sources right on the front of the router, said Cindy Zuelsdorf, Marketing Czar at Ensemble Designs. “You don’t need an external monitor to see your sources, making it extremely easy to select sources feeding the TriCaster.”
