Autoscript names Gordon Tubbs as Vice President

LONDON,16 May 2008 - Autoscript, the world's leading teleprompting company, is delighted to announce that Gordon Tubbs has been appointed to lead its growing North American business.
As Vice President, Autoscript Inc. Tubbs will head the company’s North American operation and assume responsibility for the coordination of all sales and marketing activity within the Americas and Japan.
He brings extensive industry experience to the position and joins from the Broadcast Communications Division of Canon USA Inc where he was Director of Marketing.

Tubbs said: “This is a tremendous opportunity for me to build on the substantial presence Autoscript already enjoys in the American and Japanese markets. I am passionate about the industry and look forward to working together with sales and management teams to help deliver Autoscript’s objective of providing the best teleprompting services in the world.” Tubbs is tasked with enhancing Autoscript’s customer service to deliver even higher levels of customer satisfaction. He will work to establish strong relationships with existing and new end users in the region as well as playing a critical role in new product development. He reports to Worldwide Managing Director, Brian Larter.
Gordon Tubbs career in the broadcast industry began in 1979. He joined Canon USA's Broadcast Division in 1984 and held several sales titles including Senior Sales Manager, National Product Manager and Assistant Director of Marketing. Tubbs is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and resides in Seaford, New York.
