NEW YORK, NAB 2010 Stand C.9921 – QTV will launch the second generation of QMaster and QBox, the world’s only IP-based prompting system, at NAB 2010. The new release includes much faster rundown load times, an easy installation wizard, pre-configured studio and field profiles, and full complex language handling.
To complete the system, QTV is also launching a new battery-powered wireless foot control and USB versions of their existing hand controllers. CEO, Frank Hyman explains, “A lot of big US networks are asking talent to control the scrolling of the script to help reduce costs. The new wireless foot control solution meets this need whilst offering studios a lot of flexibility in set up and configuration.”
The first generation of QMaster/ QBox first launched at NAB 2007, and has since been sold extensively to major broadcast networks throughout the world. Three years on it remains a completely unique product, and QTV have been able to incorporate extensive customer feedback in to the second generation release.
QTV’s full teleprompting, scripting and newsroom offer can be found at stand C.9921 and at
