The EQT-1616-12G is a revolutionary design enclosed in a compact 1RU frame, it is capable of high level integrated functionalities outlined below along with routing up to 16 input and 16 output 12GB/s signals. This routing solution was designed with mission critical 24/7 environments applications in mind that also require demanding and advanced functional needs. This EQT uses format independent data paths to supports digital signals from 3MB/s all the way up to 12GB/s. Boasting forward-looking hardware to support integrated functionalities such as its single-link 4K to quad-link 4K and quad-link 4K to single-link 4K conversion and other license enabled functionalities. The clean video switch and Evertz® patented SoftSwitch™ technology are a software license enabled feature, they provides 4 clean and quiet outputs that allow seamless video switching and embedded audio with audible pops eliminated during switching. The EQT clean switch feature is ideal for use in master control 4K applications as a bypass router or a simple Master Control itself, supporting one quad-link 4K deterministically routed or 4 single-link 4K clean switching paths. Additionally there are Auxiliary IO ports that can be used for TDM audio to embedded audio on the video bus as another software license enabled feature.
