Part of Chief’s interactive product line, the new accessories instantly add interactivity to existing flat panel displays

Minneapolis, MN. USA (JUL 2012) - www.chiefmfg.com - Chief, an industry leader in mounts, racks and interactive solutions, announces that its new interactive flat panel solutions are now shipping. Combined with flexible, user-friendly technology, these new accessories attach to Chief flat panel mounts and easily convert standard TVs into interactive surfaces.

This is the latest solution in Chief’s award-winning interactive product line. The FCI accessory installs with FUSION® Series mounts, and the PACI adds interactivity to Click Connect™ Series swing arm mounts and mobile displays. The accessories are engineered for easy installation with a design similar to Chief side speaker adapters. The solution instantly transforms a flat screen display into a robust interactive platform powered by eBeam® technology from Luidia Inc.

Each interactive solution includes a lightweight, ergonomic stylus featuring exceptional, real-time rendering capabilities. The accessory works with 40-55" LED-backlit LCD displays with a rigid front panel. Simply add the accessory to the mount, install the interactive software and connect a PC or Mac to the receiver via USB.

By putting interactivity in the mount, Chief offers an economical and long-term approach to interactive technology. The universal compatibility of Chief mounts provides the flexibility to choose your own technology and allows you to upgrade your flat screen at any time in the future without having to pay for interactive capabilities all over again.

"Customers have expressed excitement about the simplicity of converting a select flat panel into an interactive display, the intuitiveness of the software — it just works — and the ability to share a common platform," said Derek Derks, Chief’s Business Development Manager. "I’m most excited about the possibilities for our partners to create powerful interactive meeting and training spaces that are accessible for everyone."
