Mitsubishi Electric Visual Solutions America Launches Energy-Saving LDT462V 46-Inch Digital Signage Display
Designed for digital signage, corporate conference rooms and other robust applications, the LDT462V is built to international energy efficiency standards and contributes to cost and energy savings over extended periods of use. As the first manufacturer to announce a Crestron Connected LCD flat panel display, Mitsubishi Electric's new LDT462V can be easily connected to any enterprise network using standard Ethernet cable and Crestron software. For quick point-to-point network management and control, download free RoomView® Express software to any connected laptop or PC or select server-based Fusion RV™ for global enterprise management from anywhere, anytime using any web-enabled laptop computer, Apple® or Android™ smart phone or tablet. The display can be seamlessly monitored, managed and controlled using either RoomView Express or Fusion RV, with no programming required, or you can take full control of the display from any Crestron control system. A Crestron Connected device is recognized natively by the Crestron processor and allows for full control capabilities out-of-the-box, without any special drivers or modules.
“Crestron Connected is leading the way to cloud-based connectivity,” said James Chan, Mitsubishi Electric Visual Solutions America, Inc. “We're glad to be a part of this initiative that takes us into the future.”
“Mitsubishi Electric has been a great partner and Crestron Connected supporter,” says Steve Samson, Crestron Director of Business Development. “In addition to the LDT462V LCD flat panel display, Mitsubishi Electric already ships nearly 60 Crestron-connected projectors worldwide. The success of the initiative has prompted both companies to explore other devices.”
It has never been easier for dealers to put devices on the network. With plug-and-play capability built right in, the need to program a central processor to translate all the different “languages” is effectively eliminated.
“We're establishing a unified communication scheme so all Crestron Connected devices can live harmoniously within a Crestron ecosystem, across multiple networks,” adds Samson. “This is just the beginning. The cloud is where Crestron and our partner manufacturers are heading.”
Crestron Connected devices will be on display at the Crestron InfoComm Booth #C7508.
